AS MST®

A Fertilizer containing micronized elemental Sulphur and Ammonium Sulphate

  • Product available with up to 15% MST® Sulphur
    • AS MST® (17-0-0-36S)
  • AS MST® has improved handling characteristics with strong agronomic performance.
    • This is a high analysis sulphur product, meaning a lower volume of product is required to achieve sulphur requirements in fertilizer blends.
  • Reducing the ammonium sulphate component in blends has the added benefit of reduced caking potential as MST® absorbs less water from the atmosphere.
  • Owing to the elemental sulphur component, AS MST® has a lower salt index per unit of sulphur than ammonium sulphate, which decreases the likelihood of damaging small, sensitive seeds like canola.
  • The combination of immediately available- and slow release-sulphur is ideal in cooler soils. The sulphate component of AS MST® offers immediate sulphur availability in the spring, and the MST® component will transform to sulphate as soils warm through the summer months.
  • In locations of high precipitation, the MST® component also offers added insurance as it will not leach from soils in high rainfall events until it is transformed to sulphate by soil microorganisms.

CCT-AP

Carbon Ammonium Phosphate

A revolutionary carbon-based, ammonium phosphate product

  • Sulvaris seeks to improve N and P use efficiency with a structural carbon enhanced efficiency carrier by pursuing the development of a new proprietary product, CCT-AP
  • Global use efficiency of P fertilizers is currently only ~10-15% in the year of application, far lower than that of N and K(1)
  • P deficiencies can be found in nearly 67% (14.1B acres) of global land designated for crop production(2)
  • CCT-AP product development targets:
    • a source of enhanced efficiency nitrogen and phosphate,
    • an agronomic source of soil organic carbon,
    • a low-CAPEX, accretive investment as a bolt-on unit for existing commercial-scale phosphoric acid/MAP/DAP production facilities

CCT-AS

Carbon Ammonium Sulphate

A revolutionary carbon-based, ammonium sulphate product

  • CCT-AS is a carbon-based granular fertilizer developed by Sulvaris
    • Carbon content 5 – 15%
  • Potential source of enhanced efficiency nitrogen; shown to increase yields
  • Delivers nutrients in carbon matrix form – contributing to Soil Organic Carbon
  • Feedstock includes biomass, ammonia, and sulphuric acid
  • In addition to being a unique, high-value source of crop nutrients, CCT-AS provides an outlet for wood waste or other carbon-based waste streams
  • CCT transforms inexpensive waste feedstock into high analysis fertilizer
    • Potential reduction of soil N2O emissions
    • Potential reduction of soil CH4 emissions
    • Generates CO2 credits

19% N, 21% S, 5% C (19-0-0-21-5C)

SGN: 290-320 (2.9-3.2mm)

Uniformity index > 60

Crushing strength > 4.5 kg (10lb)

HIGH RTA and LOW dust

Flexible process allows for alteration of nutrient analysis and carbon content, as well as the addition of micronutrients

POTASH MST®

A Broad Acre Potash and Sulphur Fertilizer

  • 0-0-49-15S product available with up to 15% sulphur
  • Being a mixture of Potash and elemental sulphur (MST®), Potash MST® offers a multitude of benefits for growers, from improved handling characteristics to strong agronomic performance.
  • With an analysis of 0-0-49-15s, Potash MST® meets the majority of sulphur application requirements without the need for additional sulphur.
  • Once applied to the soil, Potash MST® has excellent dispersal of the MST® component.
  • Differentiate your potash portfolio with a value-added product.

Phosphate MST®

A broad acre phosphate fertilizer containing micronized elemental Sulphur

  • MAP MST® nutrient formulation is 9-43-0-16S (15% MST®)
  • In research trials in North America Phosphate MST® has equal to or greater yield responses than ammonium sulphate.
  • MST® provides three essential plant nutrients (NPS) together within each granule of phosphate MST® for uniform distribution across the field.
  • Phosphate MST® has enhanced blending characteristics over AS and exhibits less caking due to the hydrophobic nature of elemental sulphur.
  • Non-combustible product (confirmed by 3rd party testing lab).
  • Granule hardness, storage and handling properties identical to MAP.

Phos MST® has all three nutrients evenly dispersed through every granule

UREA MST®

A broad acre fertilizer containing micronized elemental Sulphur and Urea

  • Product available with up to 15% Sulphur
  • Urea MST® (39-0-0-15S)
  • The sulphur component in Urea MST®  can be adjusted from 5 to 15% depending on marketing requirements.
  • The MST® Unit is a “bolt-on” side skid that easily integrates into existing drum granulation Urea production facilities. Integration into Prilling process is under development.
  • Virtually non-intrusive process, requires no modifications to existing plant and equipment.
  • Virtually no production loss due to downtime during construction phase.
  • Sulphur is hydrophobic and repels moisture. MST® in the Urea granule improves storage properties, blending and application uniformity.

Liquid MST®

A broad acre liquid fertilizer containing micronized elemental Sulphur

  • Product available with up to 5% Nitrogen in the form of UAN
  • Liquid MST® (0-0-0-50S)
  • Liquid MST® (5-0-0-38S)
  • Product including UAN has a lower freeze point of -11 degC
  • Freeze / thaw cycles have no change in the product quality
  • Suitable for use with common liquid fertilizer equipment
  • A comprehensive product handling guide has been developed for Liquid MST® including the following:
  • Practical and effective equipment cleaning protocol
  • Recommended storage, handling and application best practices

Advantages

On average, Liquid MST® has provided greater yield responses than ammonium thiosulfate across all site-years studied.

The sulphur in MST® is immobile in the soil until it is oxidized to sulphate.  Liquid MST® has less leaching than ATS and can be readily integrated into fall and early spring applications.

Liquid MST® does not have a high salt or nitrogen component that can damage germinating seeds, or foliage.

This is a high analysis sulphur product, meaning a lower volume of product is required to achieve sulphur requirements.

Liquid MST® is suitable for side dress applications.

Liquid MST® has a lower carbon footprint than tradition sulphur products such as ATS or AS.

Liquid MST® allows all of the crop’s sulphur requirements to be provided from one source, creating an opportunity to choose an environmentally responsible N source.
